The Companions Poll Introduction

Hello and welcome back to That Doctor Who Blog [in association with Classic Doctor Who 1963 to 1989 Facebook page]. After the huge success and popularity of the stories polls that were run last year, it’s only right that the polls should run again. This year, we’re returning with the companion polls…

The companion polls will work as so: quite simply each week you will get to rate a different set of companions out of ten. At the end of the seven weeks, an article will be made ranking all the companions in order as voted for by you! As you know, there aren’t any official definitions to what makes a companion, so just to let you know beforehand Katarina, Sara, Brigadier, Sergeant Benton, Mike Yates, and Kamelion will all be included in this poll (treat it as a little thank you for all their help with the Doctor).

The first poll will commence this Wednesday (26th) where you can vote on Susan, Ian, Barbara, Vicki, Steven, Katarina, Sara, and Dodo. Remember to keep in mind the kind of scores you might be giving companions in future polls to keep everything relative, you can’t go back and change your scores!!

Good luck to your favourite companions and happy voting!
